Relationships

In my book, I describe how important relationships are in the fixed income markets. I referred specifically to the customer/IA relationship as well as the IA to the Fixed Income Desk relationship and the desk to the market. It occurs to me and several IAs have told me this, that they sometimes feel compelled to "fire" their clients. This could be because of a bad fit, for clients becoming "rogue", or just that some clients gang up on their advisor. I am writing a chapter on this for the next edition.
